‘NEWS Limited CEO Kim Williams today said he would go to the High Court to protect Australia’s freedom of speech.
Speaking at an SA Press Club luncheon in Adelaide, Mr Williams said the Australian media landscape should be governed by the consumer, not governments.
Taking aim at the Finkelstein and Covergence reviews that are currently before the Federal Government, Mr Williams stressed the importance of free speech – and said he would go to great lengths to protect that right.
He said he is prepared to take the matter to the High Court if the recommendations in the reviews are implemented…’

      I took a really good look at the make-up of the Greens sponsored “enquiry” and they’re all–including the judge–academic leftist bastards who have as much interest in real free speech as a vegan does in whale meat. :evil:

    Absolutely. Everyone knows more people buy News Ltd papers and visit News Ltd multimedia sites not because of some magic brainwashing Rupert Murdoch has perpetrated on the populace. Nope, that’s what Fairfax and ABC are trying to do.

    The reason News Ltd publications are so much more popular than Fairfax and ABC is terrifying to the Greens and their ALP lapdogs … they produce a product people want (*gasp*). Heaven forbid people should hear different viewpoints, some actual balance in their media!

They will use this Orwellian Thought Police “tribunal”, and of course the “racial vilification” laws on the media and anyone else they can, if anyone dares point out their treasonous policy platform or their incompetent execution of same.

        Actually, come to think of it – this is completely O/T, but it’s just as well the Gillard Gang are so completely fucking inept or the country would be well and truly fucked by now.
