“Cultural enrichment”

‘Softly-spoken pensioner Marlene Bothge seems an unlikely owner of a 200,000-volt stun gun, but after her neighbours stole the light bulbs from the corridor of the seven-storey tower block in which she used to live, she no longer felt safe without it.
‘I am sad it has come to this’, she says. ‘This is a weapon young people carry, not 65-year-old women. I should not feel threatened in my own home.’….’

“…someone with three children could collect £660 a month in benefits.”
    Bloody **insane.**
The government here is almost as bad. Key and co don’t want to face up to the fact that welfare is a baby-breeding industry.

Having babies is one thing…what they grow up to be after being raised in welfare households is the problem.

      • thor42 says:

        Yes.

I just think that no government in the world should be paying people for having babies.
IMO it sends completely the wrong message.

If a couple wants a baby, they should plan for it and *they* should pay for its care – no-one else.

          YES!!

          Absolutely!

It’s a simple concept really. If you want less of something tax it.If you want more of something subsidize it.

Why are our politicians subsidizing hoards of welfare dependants?Because they are sooo much easier to rule over.Give them a check, pay their rent and they will vote anyway they want them to.

            • KG says:

Sums it up. All their pious talk about “doing something” about welfare numbers is just that. Talk.

It’s amazing the way things improve once the money dries up.
We fixed our illegal alien problem in my state by simply fining the employers who get caught hiring illegals.$10,000 per employee got their attention.
Now two years later there aren’t any illegals to be found here. They all moved on once no one would hire them.No need to up root or force them to leave.
Welfare should be dependant on two things. They must find a job within 6 months and if they want aid for the first kid the only way they can get it is after the tubes get tied.

Having followed the admirably studious Lindsay Mitchell for the past year or so in particular, I think her research does show a slow but methodical attack on welfarism being undertaken by this NZ government. I think the approach thus far is too timid but it is being pursued. The attack could in all likelihood be a simple cessation of welfare but no politician will ever dream of this. The hysterical screaming from the NZ Labour party would suggest the reduction in welfarism, however modest, is beginning to be felt. I hope like hell it gets ramped-up.

I know someone sucking the public teat for all it’s worth..he gets carers allowance ( for his wife ) , unemployed with four children and recieves almost $1000.00 a week. Can some leftie halfwit tell me how this encourages him to get work ? No…didn’t think so.
    Naturally I can’t stand him.

You’d think such an existence would be a living hell….

      • Cadwallader says:

        Not if you’re an amoeba.

Not when he has two 4WDs ,a boat and a large rental home ( subsidised by the tax payer , of coarse ) and now that his dad past away two weeks ago he can only see dollar signs and is going for it , calling his dad’s partner of 29 years a ” maggot ” . This bloke has worked 3 years in total ALL of his life and he is 40. The rest of the time he has been on welfare.

The only answer to this is to “go Galt” and simply contribute the minimum possible to the upkeep of these leeches.
          Easier said than done, though……
