Rallying around their trough:

Kiwi scientists rally against climate change sceptic
New Zealand’s top climate change scientists have rallied together to slam a visiting sceptic who is touring the country to proclaim global warming as a myth that should be ignored.
Lord Christopher Monckton, a former advisor to Margaret Thatcher, says human-induced climate change is not happening.
….But government scientists and academics have warned that Lord Monckton’s views are not based on science, and go against all the research they have done and read…’
It’s always an ugly sight when the taxpayer-funded trough looks like running out–the pigs start squealing and running around in circles. Let’s see these mendacious bastards debate Monckton, in public.

  1. They didn’t have the balls to get in the ring with him last time- must have been a couple of years ago, after he’d been speaking in Australia.

He had called for a debate, I recall he got a couple of minutes, alone, on TV3 one morning.

It was about the same time I saw Nick Smith pushing same bullshit to an unbelieving and most unhappy local council building full of the people who are COMPELLED to pay for this nonsense

  2. “The whole strategy of these sceptics and deniers is to take these things out of context to present a different picture,” Mr Mullan said. :!:

    • “Can they spell “hockey stick”?”
      Probably not…..

“Let’s see these mendacious bastards debate Monckton, in public.”
      Agreed!
