What do facts have to do with it?

Very little, it seems. Policy these days is too often driven by the emotional mommy mindset.
‘…The gun control crusade today is like the Prohibition crusade 100 years ago. It is a shared zealotry that binds the self-righteous know-it-alls in a warm fellowship of those who see themselves as fighting on the side of the angels against the forces of evil. It is a lofty role that they are not about to give up for anything so mundane as facts– or even the lives of other people.’          Thomas Sowell

See why I no longer ‘go to church’ – but- rather- choose my Christian friends- and I call myself a Follower of Christ-
I do not trust ‘organized’ religion anymore!

I think the mainstream churches suffer from a lot of the problems any big organization tends to experience after a while, Carol.

‘……..the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’

Any subsequent Republican administration which doesn’t overturn the backdoor assault on the Second is as traitorous as Obama’s mob. No Republican candidate – state or federal – should get so much as a single vote without first giving an undertaking to support any measure to undo restrictions on the right of law-abiding people to own firearms.

This fight isn’t so much about firearms–it’s about fidelity to the Constitution and whether the law belongs to the people or to a tiny group of unelected tyrants.

“Any subsequent Republican admins”???? Not gonna happen.

Mainstream churches: United Methodist Slogan – Open hearts, open minds, open doors. to which I add – open borders, open legs, open fire. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

Of course it won’t, Contempt. Basically, what America has is a one-party state where people get to swap the labels every few years.
And she’s not alone in that by any means.
