    I remember Margaret Thatcher as a staunch defender of individual liberty and conservatism. She stood tall on the ramparts of the West against the Soviet threat and was the best friend and ally that the United States has had since Churchill. I cannot help, but to be saddened by her loss as another great light has gone out in the world. Rest well, Lady Thatcher.

      Aren’t they just the most vile. For years they have been living off the benefits her economic policies brought, but they are do dumb to see it. Her sucessors have only managed to keep them pampered and fed by borrowing enough to ruin the global economy.

        A British friend summed up Thatcher: “PM Thatcher saved Britain from socialist collapse at home and aggressive Soviet communism from outside – and for these heroic deeds the British Left never forgive her.”

        I think the Iron Lady will have the last word and this conquest of the English speaking and former Free World by the International Left will fall flat on its fucking face – “The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”

        The downside is that it may take a century or more for the current crop of English speaking Leftist countries to finally bite the Soviet Union dust. :twisted:
