‘TAXPAYERS forked out nearly $900,000 to send Julia Gillard and her 52-strong contingent to last year’s climate change summit in Brazil despite the global talkfest being labelled an ”epic” failure.
More than 30 bureaucrats and 15 of the Gillard Government’s senior advisers flew mainly business class to the United Nations conference – racking up a carbon footprint of about 950 tonnes, or enough to power 180 motor vehicles for a year.
In one of the most expensive delegations ever to travel overseas, the cost of airfares soared to $240,951 while accommodation in some of Rio de Janeiro’s better hotels came to $220,000….’

        Aaaargh! Don’t even mention that! The last time the Victorian economy crashed (or the time before that, one loses count) the bastards invaded Queensland.
        Then proceeded to moan and gripe about the very things that made Queensland a much, much better place to live than their own festering socialist shit-hole.
        Somehow they never seem to get the connection between socialist policies and economic failure.

    Here is a good English edition of the Rio Times.Back when that AGW love in occurred,in the weeks following they had headlines about the visiting dignitaries habits involving under aged prostitutes and narcotics use that was quite interesting.

    Oddly enough none of it made the MSM in the Western nations these folks supposedly represented :roll: What happens in Rio stays in Rio.
