    Oh yes, how right old uncle Al’s prophecy is. Technology has created a world of zombies unable to communicate without an external power source (and this post just the point)

      But it’s a world we created. The young people just adapt .They have no choice.

      But isn’t it wonderful I can have a human interaction with people on different continents simultaneously like I do right now with persons I have never met before thanks to KG’s page?

      The biggest problem is that because of all this high tech stuff we became more vulnerable. Just one big Solar flare could provoce chaos all over the world just by knocking down all sattelites and frying the power lines. It would take years to recover from such an event.

        Oh,for sure technology is a wonder thing,it’s just anything can be overdone hince the backlash againt the Google Glasses.

        It is also possible to go cold Turkey on somethings.For example I haven’t owned a cellphone in over ten years and refuse to get one now.

        I am the owner a cellphone a Siemens more or less 10 years old.
        Only is on on if necessary for work if not it is on of. Friends always call my wife because they know it’s useless to try.

        And yes Internet is a BIG spy machine. They know who we are and they know where we live and they know what we think. Our kids know this and because they grew up with it they are masters in finding ways around it. Don’t think they are stupid. Internet can be used against those in power because they can’t adapt that fast as the young ones.

          Good points, Robert. I love the technology too, it’s just that I’m very, very wary of the potential for it to aid in the enslaving of us.

          Those in power ALWAYS want to enslave us, with our without technology . It’s like dogs . You rule or they rule, there is no other way. But It’s not the dog’s fault if he has to rule, so don’t complain if he bites you!
