    Damned right!

    To HELL with what the UN and anyone else thinks. Australia has the RIGHT to defend its borders in **any way** that it chooses.
    If I were Aussie PM, I’d have a policy consisting of ONE “loud-hailer warning” to a boat. If it kept on coming, it’d be SUNK.
    Advertise the policy all over the place so that no-one could claim ignorance of it.

    Simple, unambiguous and **bloody effective.**

    It would only take 4 or 5 boats to be sunk before the message got through.

    That’d be my preferred solution too, Thor. These people ARE NOT “asylum seekers”. They’re illegal immigrants and as such are no different to invaders.

    My idea is similar to thor42s. However I would like a couple of illegal vessels towed to just outside their starting point and sunk.

    Right in full view of the bastards. As has been highlighted by Bolt in the past, the scum are well up with the play re: Aussie announcements on policy. (In real-time)

    A couple sunk would “dry up” the market. Especially just off their own/departure shore.

    Good idea.
    What’s also urgently needed is the construction of very large detention centres and an absolute guarantee that anybody arriving by boat will spend a minimum of three years in one before being processed.
    The business of courts over-riding policy and the will of the Australian people must end.

    everyone knows about those end of the life ocean vessels that they run up the shore in India to be scrapped…well..they can be picked up cheap..
    I would like to run a really charitable mission to the poor ends of the earth pick up these poor unfortunate souls..for a “mere” donation from these folks ;load the ship to the brim and sail into Aus..
