Tyranny. This will grant the bastards unlimited power.

That this is being openly discussed ought to be warning enough:
‘EXCLUSIVE: The Obama administration should dramatically reorganize the relationships between America’s federal departments and agencies, and overcome legal barriers to help install the nebulous principle of “sustainability”  across government, the economy and society at large, according to a new National Research Council study sponsored by many of the federal departments that would be most affected.
The study also calls for installing sustainability in the “culture of government” and recommends that the U.S. look for inspiration to a number of “national sustainable development strategies” adopted under the United Nation’s controversial Agenda 21, a highly detailed blueprint for reworking the global economy and environment that was reaffirmed at last year’s Rio + 20 summit on sustainable development….’
If this doesn’t ring alarm bells, then nothing will. Any politician who supports this in any form should never get another vote and any government or Administration which supports it, is by definition, illegitimate and traitorous.

    The number of people who comprehend this is woefully low. It has always astonished me that no matter how much evidence is placed in front of them, people will not respond. It could be because some favorite news anchor never mentions it.

    Could it be that men who would take on all challengers in a fist fight are simply too cowardly to face it because those in power are seen as too big and remote? Cowardice under promised fire. Jeesh.

    Let’s cut to the the bottom line – what do these bastards want…what’s their goal…what’s the endgame :?:

    Fortunately, I have that book, “1984” where the world is divided between three super states: Oceania (the old British Empire plus North and South America), Eastasia (China and the Far East) and Eurasia (the old Soviet Union and Europe up to the English Channel)…

    I think we can see this Orwellian nightmare world taking shape before our shocked eyes daily :shock: – certainly the Oceania part, where the elite Leftists of the English speaking world are working from the same set of blueprints in their quest for Total Control of once free and independent nations that formed the core of the British Empire.

    We are so screwed unless fate throws down a wild card pretty damn soon :!: :evil:

      There are two items in 1984 that I often find cause to borrow from.
      One is Newspeak and why it is used. That’s not an issue here.

      The other is one few have made note of: O’Brien told Winston the truth about the opposition: it was O’Brien who wrote Goldstein’s book. Which meant that O’Brien WAS the opposition that sought out and sucked in disaffected members of the outer party. It is why I do not trust professional writers and “conservative” talk radio. Their fortunes are too tied to those who pay their bills and permit them access.

      So I filter what news that only comes from those sources. I keep tabs on what is going on. But like I said above, there are simply too many who have stopped up their ears and buried their heads in the sand that I can see them as the proles of 1984. ‘You wrote in your diary that the only hope is with the proles. No Winston. We made sure of that.’

      So I agree with your final line here too Ron. Even so, I am not giving up.

    @Pascal:

    The English speaking power grab by the International Left could go either way at this point – the wild card in the deck is economic collapse – if their wizards of smart keep the welfare checks coming, as the chains and locks are placed on us, there won’t be rebellion.

    On the other hand, if the welfare checks stop and you have a majority of the population cold, hungry and homeless – you will have a revolution, as most recently events in Egypt proved once again.

    Empty bellies a revolution make, and I’m afraid only a series of revolutions that sweep across the planet will stop the English speaking version of the International Left.

    • Pascal says:

      I don’t disagree that we will see revolts. But will those revolts be aimed at the ones that deserve it or at each other simply in order to keep/steal what little each neighbor needs?

      Since the elites seem to be aiming for economic collapse, what are they planning to do when it comes? Think ahead and try to prepare. It is my opinion that they will attempt to use what has worked before because they have not come up with an original idea yet. So look to history for the answer. It’s not Lenin’s model because he sought out the loyalty of the armed forces to gain control of the Russian anarchy.

      And as for our side, we could use the Roman model, but I see no one with the status to match Sulla (and his restoration didn’t succeed for long because he didn’t really want the power and retired in the tradition of Cincinnatus).

      They seem to be setting us up for “every man for himself” anarchy, at least for the short term. So I guess my question for you is your best guess on “How are they planning that their phoenix will arise from the ashes?”

        @Pascal:

        This is the paradox for the Left, because once they kill the golden goose of capitalism they kill themselves as well…the only question is how many years pass before this latest attempt to build the Tower of Babel falls apart :?:

        It took the Soviet Union over 70 years to collapse, but Nazi Germany took only 12 years to bite the dust.

        I think America’s situation has more historical parallels with Germany than Russia.
