  1. First Tomatos with genes from an Artic Flounder, now glow in the dark Wabbits, what’s the world coming tohttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • I’ve thought of a way to produce glow in the dark muzzies….it involves a B1 and..you get the idea.

    • Robin Knox Johnston. “Suhaili”. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif
That, and “The Long Way” by Moitessier were my bibles.

      • “The Long Way” and Moitessier have a certain Gallic charm, and I enjoy reading him, but Knox-Johnston in “A World of My Own” is archetypical British steadfastness.

Have you read Dougal Robertson’s “Survive the Savage Sea” and Alvah Simon’s “North to the Night”? They are incredible stories about human endurance and the will to survive.

  2. Major problem getting online here. This happens every evening in this town.
Because the dishonest bastards at Telstra over-sell their existing capacity.

    • Why there’s a bevy of babes in Telstra skirts at the V8s, changes  to  to  in seconds…

Kind of like a power co. in N.Z using Pukeko* & chicks in tv ads: associate a warm-fuzzy with the cold-prickly bill.

*(Poo-keck-o, which I saw in print somewhere is also/actually a Spanish Swamp Hen :?: ) [The co$t of distraction is added to bill ]

      • Interesting, since the Pook is a kind of swamp hen too… maybe Spaniards got there before maori?
To be fair to Telstra (which I seldom am) they just gave us each $150 credit on our broadband accounts after my complaint. And a very decent helpful guy on the complaints desk.

      • Yes,there was some unpleasantness at work last week, somethings were said,a purple tapestry of obscenity still hangs over the shop today, but things are looking up now.

Some people just know what buttons to push to get my Viking on
