      • The problem for us, at our age, is that the money we have saved for our dotage is going to be worthless? In hindsight I wish I had been putting Kruger Rands into that tin buried at the bottom of the garden.

I suppose I’ll just have to keep on impacting on my family life and family dinners.

        • The savings of the middle class are a prime target. They’re openly looting them in Europe and we won’t be far behind.

  1. Greek politics have always been brutal. When they weren’t picking fights with the Macedonians and Persians, they were warring with the city in the next valley over.

More recently in 1944-45, communist Greeks and fascist Greeks were locked in a Bosnian-Serb style civil war which was at the extreme end of genocide.

EU treaties and ten years of come-get-it soft German loans to fund a Swedish-model welfare state based in actuality on the meager GDP generated by fishing, goats, olives and grey market criminality might have masked the fundamental schisms in Greek society, but now that Berlin Sugar Daddy ain’t writing cheques all the pus is rising to the surface once again.

    • Today Greece…Tomorrow Europe…The day after – America.

The world Leftist elites have roped together the Western economies and they have started to fall beginning with the PIGS…

“Too Big To Fail” is yet another socialist pipe dream crushed by reality.
