2. I’ve got an amazing book on the Civil War, filled with great photos.

   I always found the Confederates to be much more interesting than the Union side. Guys like Stonewall Jackson, J.E.B. Stuart and of course Robert E. Lee.

   • Even as a kid, it always seemed to me that the wrong side won, Thor.

   • Lee was top in his class at West Point-USMA– served over 30 years as Army engineer- was Superintendent at USMA –the fact that he entered on the side of the ‘South’ – got me thinking and studying–
     after much self study- I believe that those who forced the separation- lincoln- and et al–had a $$$ and power agenda–
     I could go on – will not– now–
