          Cute lttle Aussie chickie at work said she’d been told about mouldy culture. Just before smoko ended so couldn’t give her the correction.

          Every year they get worse. Napier/Hastings is a goner. Pub in Havelock North was nice [replete with Greg Murphy gear], Havelock(sp.) proper/original showed signs of multiculting from the mussel factory.

          I had a white kiwi girl- NOT lady argue emotively that the ‘others’ were all good while I was warning some tourist girls. She knew about incidents like the linked but seemed to want to set the visitors up anyway :?:

            I don’t think it’s so much a matter of setting the visitors up, Anon, as being in denial about the reality of the problem.
            If the problem is acknowledged, then it must be faced and solutions found.
            Given that people are effectively powerless, since no political party or bureaucracy admits to it, then all people can do is try to shut it out and hope for the best.
