  3. Guess what is the first to go w/ c core? – –art and music-
    guess who need art and music- the most intelligent- but- often- hyperactive boys-
    Read-Writing – Arithmetic- Logic-True History and the ARTS–
    We get those and we will not need to drug (retalin) our brightest!
    HOMESCHOOL – as I did –
    after ten years of teaching – I knew that the basics were being phased out!

    • There is a correlation between the ability to read music and high math and science scores. While we want to be a high tech society, we are not preparing out young people to get those high tech jobs.

  4. :shock: once upon a time it was gym, baseball, basketball about an hour a day at school. Never met a teacher who could teach me anything unless it was English or History and then just the alphabet, verbs/nouns, readin’ and writin’. Math or trig or chemistry? No way.

    No madrazzas, special schools, or whatever. But hey! it b 4 the children nowadays. :roll:
