‘Shadow of the Gun’

‘…The gun, the sword, the spear and the club took countless lives and saved countless lives. Civilization has always balanced on a future made possible by little boys playing cops and robbers and playing with little green army men. They can either grow up to be the protectors of the future or the frightened men who will stand aside and do nothing when they hear the screams begin to come because they have been told that all violence is evil.’        Daniel Greenfield

It’s like I’ve said many times before, the Leftists on the other side of the battle line are weaklings and our inferiors – clearly little girly men of low intelligence who think they can rule forever by making making real men and women ashamed of being real men and women.

This is the natural order of civilization – the strong, intelligent and active rule over the inferior beta males and females – and when the natural order is perverted insurrection is inevitable.

      Agreed.

One of my favourite quotes is –
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
      – Thomas Jefferson

Man, those Founding Fathers were *truly* amazing and wonderful people.

 oBowa has flown to see Mandela join the clouds of witnesses. Will they please hold him for a few years?

BE STILL MY HEART :!:

Of course, from the perspective of the modern American revolutionary, Obama is the best thing to come along since King George III and his Tory Ministers :!:

With a gun, an 11-year-old girl casts a long shadow

The fear is natural and healthy. It’s the absence of the ability to nut-up and wash it away in a sea of testosterone and adrenalin that makes the difference.

That’s an *outstanding* article by Greenfield!
Gee, he writes some *great* articles, he really does.

I particularly like this paragraph –

“This isn’t a precautionary attitude, but a pacifist one. Gun horror is not a productive emotion, but learned helplessness disguised as moral superiority. Rather than teaching children to hate killers, schools are instead teaching them to hate guns. And reducing murders to instruments rather than morals, children are left with no sense of right and wrong, only an instinctive horror of violence. ”

Yep – even when the “violence” is *fully justified*.

    • KG says:

That paragraph is just perfect, thor. Especially “And reducing murders to instruments rather than morals, children are left with no sense of right and wrong, only an instinctive horror of violence.”

      • thor42 says:

Exactly! That is the CORE of the issue.

I have NEVER seen such a good *clear* article that argues in favour of guns.”
