Open house

Wabbit is knackered after getting up at 3am and checking out a cattle station for wild pigs then picking a site there suitable for a rifle range. We’ll have an 11km down-range distance.   We got home at 7:30pm.

I shop at a local supermarket for most of my groceries and there is usually some busker at the entrance. One of the regulars is the Anglican Maori Mission doing a sausage sizzle.

Every time I see them I bristle wanting to confront those who man the booth. I would ask a series of questions…among which would be

    1. Is there an ‘Anglican Pakiha Mission’?
    2. Does the Anglican Church think Maori are so stupid they need special help to understand the Christian message?
    3. Do Maori need a special mission because they are more sinful than Pakiha?

I just do not understand why any Church would need a special unit based on race. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

Meanwhile in America we had us a revolution yesterday in Washington, D.C., where 10 million patriots were suppose to storm Washington, D.C. and shoot the Obama Regime, the Congress and the Supreme Court – but it was cancelled due to lack of interest.

About 3,000 would-be rebels did show up; however, the police refused to validate their parking, so they went back home.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • KG says:

Some interesting dynamics at work there, Ronbo. A sullen withdrawal from conventional avenues of protest may be an expression of anger and disillusionment far deeper than a crowd waving flags and chanting slogans would have been.
If so, come the right spark, the explosion will be enormous.

      • mawm says:

There was some talk of a ‘false flag’ operation and many blogs were cautioning against going. More interesting than how many turned up, how many police were around and were there any SWAT teams bussed in from BLM/DHS/etc.

    Here’s another….
Conservative, anti muslim Narendra Modi wins a majority in Indian election. MSM say nothing!

I’ve always thought that our natural trading partner is India. They have a large population and they are pretty smart people (not to mention that some of their women are hot). They are also looking after their defence interests and quietly building up a significant presence in Asia.

    • KG says:

I commented under the “zombie cabbages” post on that Mawm:
‘O/T. I see India will shortly have a Hindu PM–one who, when a trainload of Hindu activists was set on fire and Hindus retaliated and went on a rampage against muslims, killing a couple of thousand–shrugged and paraphrased Newton: “For every action, there’s an opposite reaction”.
Western liberals are wetting their pants…’

Couldn’t agree more with your comments regarding India.

    • mawm says:

I missed that. But on the other hand I’m now partially blinded (with rage) having seen the photo of that half-breed tail-gunner wiping his arse on a food counter.

  6. KG says:

    Oh, garbage!
‘Australia is really a scary place – especially for people overseas – and I think we take it for granted that it’s not as scary as we think.’
“Scary” my ass. The Australian bush is a very safe place, far more so than any city. The quote is taken from the link, which is nothing more than a promo for a movie:

Heard on a local radio station.Call in show was taking calls in regards to the Nigerian terrorist kidnapping situation and what we should do about it if anything. All the usual responses were represented then one guy called in and his comment just cracked me up.

He said the answer is simple-Send in the Cat!The hero Cat of California, the Cat instinctively knows what to do and how to handle the situation, our president not so much!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Showing my age but I remember watching Secretariat win the Belmont Stakes to take the triple crown. One of, if not, THE greatest performances by a race horse ever!

      • Darin says:

Yes Secretariat was a great Horse, there have been a lot of Horses take the Triple Crown, but Sea biscuit and Secretariat were great Horses who also had great stories behind them especially Sea biscuit.

    • KG says:

O YESS! I reckon the Sako .243 is only good out to 600 yards though.

        • KG says:

I got the Sako A7 for the same price and instead of the Tikka, Darin, because the gun shop stuffed up the order with Beretta Oz.
I’m still pretty pissed about it and it makes the A7 hard to love .
There are no extended mags for it so I got a Tikka extended mag – that cost $140 – modified to fit at a further cost of $100. And that doesn’t work real well……
          Let’s talk about something else….

          • Wombat says:

We can talk about my 2nd hand Stevens in .223 that shoots MOA without modification.
$300 w/scope, but what’s money where quality is concerned?

  11. Ronbo says:

Able Seaman Ronbo on shore leave at Juneau, Alaska from the good ship Golden Princess that sailed from Seattle on Saturday :!:

The ship provides good chow, cheap beer, entertainment; however, they want one U.S. Dollar per MINUTE to use the ship’s Internet connection. OUTRAGEOUS :!: I’m waited until we docked at Juneau and got a coffee house connection for $2.00 and they even threw in a TERRIBLE cup of coffee.(ugh!)

Talk about Global Warming :!: It’s chilly and rainy here in Juneau – about 50 Fahrenheit high today. Also, there’s snow on the mountain tops. Yes, I know KG is jealous as he loves snow so doggone much  BTW, the temperature on top of the mountains around Juneau is at least 10 degrees colder than down here on the shore. This is a small town by American standards – only about 32,000 people-but it’s the capital of Alaska. Did I tell you there are no roads into Juneau? Marine or air – this is the only way here from the interior.

Anyhow, have to get moving! See ya folks later!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

When the Clintons are involved, corruption goes along for the ride.

    • mawm says:

These venal, greedy parasites are probably the most despicable people on this planet. It’s all about them and how much money they can grab (and with BJ using his position to subjugate women into having sex with him). Spit!

I believe there are many decent, but misled, Democrats who believe that they need to help the less fortunate through socialism, but how can they be so wrong about their leaders, both current and past.

  13. KG says:

“When the Clintons are involved, corruption goes along for the ride.”
Ain’t that the truth! And now there’s talk of the plug-ugly daughter going into politics, based on nothing more than her name.
    Ugh!
(I’d insert a vomit smiley here, but we’re travelling and the codes are on the other computer)

  14. KG says:

What were the mooseburgers like, Ronbo?
Snow?.. snow??.. That stuff ain’t natural. Heat and dust are natural.

  15. Michael in Nelson says:

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the left is. Second only to the great unwashed that vote for them.

    • KG says:

The problem is, stupidity is working for them. Which indicates that most people are damn stupid. And lazy. And apathetic.

  16. Michael in Nelson says:

I had a link to Kiwiblog about how Labour had canned the Treasury pro seconded to them. The post noted that was probably why their policies are so poorly costed.

    • The Gantt Guy says:

Did I see the other day somewhere they’re refusing to submit any of their policies for costing? I wonder why that would be.

      • Michael in Nelson says:

I seem to remember the same thing GG. Two possibilities come to mind. 1. They know their policies can’t be financially justified and 2. They like having their head handed to them by John Key on a regular basis.
