FFS! Give it a rest!

Easter is not about feminism, feminists or token female “bishops”, you clown.

I served in U.S. Army Military Intelligence during the Cold War days and women soldiers were about 25% of our number by the early 1980s, and for M.I., the females worked out well.

For example, women seem to have a better ability to pick up languages than men, and I noted many excellent female Russian, Chinese and Korean women language experts.

This being said, I should also note that M.I. was mostly in garrison conditions and we got our three hot meals a day, clean beds, hot water and showers.

In fact, on many bases like Herzo in Germany we actually lived in castles :!:  Well granted it wasn’t the same inside as when the Duke of Herzo lived there, but for a Middle Ages German castle it quite comfortable with the updated 20th century touches like indoor bathrooms.

The other side of the coin is the “GRUNT” side – the infantry, special forces, Rangers, airborne, armor, artillery, etc. This part of the Army was off limits to women soldiers in those days. Yes, in the Army and Marines did extensive testing and the females couldn’t make on the battlefield. For instance, the infantry “kit” – weapons, ammunition, helmet, pack, rations, etc. often weights about 75 pounds. This was an impossible load for the average woman whose weight is 100 to 125 pound :!:

Other factors would include lack of privacy in the field. Dirt. Mud. Sand. Rain. No warm bed. Living in a foxhole. Wounds. Death. The infantry plays for keeps :!: Most men could not make the infantry grade, much less special forces, and it’s impossible for 99% of women. Yes, there are a few Amazons who can be grunts, but they are very much the exception.

Men and women are different. Yes, most women can serve in the military in many roles…most roles…but not as grunts – the tip of the spear.
