    Actually, Zim dollar notes are not worthless- they sell them as souvenirs. A 100 trillion dollar note makes a great conversation piece.

    I wrote a nice bit about this, got fucked over when posting by the WiFi jacking out. Why? Are we, am I, being watched? Bollocks, no one wants to watch me. Maybe Crusader Wabbit. Nah, just being stiffed for bandwidth. This world has moved a long way from the penny post. Anyway, my jitterings were about my experience of Rhodesians who sold their farms, moved out. Moved back to manage same land to make money for inept new Mugabe cousin owners. Tribal twats. Rhodesia would feed Africa, Europe too were it not for the Marxist idiot. Even out of season luxuries like Brussels sprouts could be had. Rhodesian tobacco was really rather nice, is that why USA didn’t do anything? Or is it oil, or the apparent lack of? God bless Ian Smith.

      From what I know the only presence we had in Africa at the time was CIA.Mainly because Vietnam had just been lost to the Communists with help from the marxist media.Thanks to them the public would not support another war in another jungle.We won every battle in Vietnam,but still lost the war thanks to the left and their red commie masters.So because of that the only things we could do were undercover of secrecy,not from the enemy,but from the public.

        Yeah, you’re right. The left have truly taken over in the west, and paradoxically it’s the Russians who seems to be going about things the right way. They don’t stand for any nonsense from anyone, apart from their own thugs of course. I can well imagine this Conservative government handing over the Falklands if EUSSR demanded. Just look at Russia’s response to EUSSR imperial ambitions in Ukraine. Sometimes you lose face if you poke the bear, one swipe of it’s claws and it’s face off – gone. Someone tell our dick head leaders to leave well alone. Then maybe they will find the resources to sort out some truly troubled corners of this world.

          I don’t know Andy,it pains me that we no longer develop or practice good doctrine on the international stage.What has happened in Africa in the last 40 years is a shame.

          What’s happening in Iraq and Ukraine right now are even bigger shames.There is no leadership in Washington and Europe hasn’t seen any since Thatcher.

          I did see where NATO is making a bit of a move,but not really seriously committing yet.
