Tomorrow, Guess What Would happen to sea levels…
Nothing.
Or at least as close to nothing as makes no difference – says a new study published at Science Advances.
If we were to burn all the world’s coal and all the world’s oil tomorrow, the resultant effect on the Antarctic ice sheet – the biggest body of ice on the planet – would be to cause sea levels to rise by the end of this century by just 8cm.
What this means, in other words, is that even were the doomiest of doomsday predictions about climate change and rising sea levels to come true, they would take place on a timescale so slow that no one alive on the planet right now would be remotely affected.
Nor their children, nor their grandchildren, nor their great-grandchildren…’

Just a thought; (that will most likely get me “SWATed”) If we burned all the world’s left leaning loons, the emissions would probably have little or no effect on the ice caps, the Ozone or global air quality. However, I’m fairly sure most of us on the right will no longer suffer from inflamed hemorrhoids.
Hell yes!
My computer model said if we did burn all the fossil fuels in the world in a period of 24 hours, we’d kill all the Leftards on the planet and most of the Muslims.
Hey, 99.9% of the climate scientists at Joe’s bar and grill agree with my scientific Dell computer model!
The world would potentially be a better place. The more CO2 the more food production, the more nutrients etc.. There is nothing which persuades me to decry the usage of fossil fuels.
Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to read “The Moral Case For Fossil Fuels” written by Alex Epstein. I am happy to lend this book to anyone wishing to read a well-researched work which debunks the myths around man-made climate change as well as proposing that given climate has never been perfect anywhere then perhaps a change to a warmer climate may be a very good thing!
