The way I see it, Star Wars is all out Tea Party Movement (called the “Rebel Alliance” in the movies series) doing battle against the hi-tech “Evil Empire” – which, of course, is Big Government everywhere on the planet. Darth Vader is modeled on the mindless bureaucrats in this world enforcing the will of “The Emperor” on all the inhabitants of earth. Luke Skywalker is modeled on the freedom fighters of the world, the various evil empires cannot always crush – and mankind endless quest for liberty over the years.
But Ronbo, the 7th movie, is after darth vader is finished.
Some days even Darth Vader gets no respect….or fear.
I’d love for Obama to stop at a pub as he often does to be “one” with the “little people” by drinking a beer with them – and everyone – including the wait staff – just ignore him and act like he wasn’t even there.
Seriously, a psychologist told me the best way to really tick someone off was to simply ignore their existence – I’ve tried it and people go ape when totally ignored!
