There’s a nice film about this type of thing. Its called “Like Dandelion Dust” (or similar). No time for doing what is sensible although the film had a nice ending (like soppy Christian films tend to do) because someone did what was right.
They’re also a special kind of smug, well-remunerated and politically protected.
