Gun control only works for gun collectors, rebels, terrorists, criminals and The Government.
On a personal note: A retired sergeant-major buddy of mine in Central Florida is an avid gun collector – and decided increase his collection of weapons by adding armored vehicles – with an eye to creating an Army museum near Titusville to tap into the tourist bucks headed for the Kennedy Space Center and over to the Beeline Expressway to Disney World.
The last time I visited him back in 2009, he had just purchased a WW II Sherman tank with operational cannon and machine guns that needed only ammunition to light up Titusville I kid you not! Of course, he and his employees had made the guns non-operational real quick after the delivery to keep Homeland Security from paying a visit at about 2 a.m. and lighting him up
I asked him where the heck did he come up with an operational Sherman tank? “Well, Ron there is this South American country with a warehouse full of these old well maintained Shermans and if you know the right…Hmmm?… gun dealer down south to do a deal with a certain government that’s selling off the old stock to buy new stuff…Also, don’t forget Port Canaveral is only a few miles away and the Feds can’t look at everything that gets off loaded late at night.”
“…or get paid to look the other when way the tank lands on the dock and rolls on to a transporter,” I said
“Ron, the thing is if you have the money and the connections you can get any weapon, although I can’t seem to get a line on that 155 mm Long Tom I’ve got my eyes on.”
Come to think of it: The former Communist republic of Yugoslavia had an impressive armory that Tito spent decades and billions to collect and not all of it was used up in the civil war in the 1990s. Yes, I would imagine that finding an AK-47 and the ammo on the black market anywhere in Europe would be a problem. This is why I encourage my Euro pals to say, “fuck you!” to the gun control laws and gun up.

Like “DUH!”

Hmmm….an Oerlikon on a pickup would be the ultimate street-fighting machine….
KG, there’ve been many times I wished I had a 20mm cannon mounted on my vehicle I could deploy to blow some idiot driver off the road.
Oh yes!
I’m told that Bosnia is a major source of arms to European jihadis…whodathunkit, eh?

If they can get sea container loads of narcotics in,weapons would be a cake walk.

As soon as I saw this article I had to come here. I’ve had some big blues with people over guns but like (p)islam they just won’t listen .
