Why we haven’t found life in Space

We didn’t miss the Bus,because we may have been riding on it all along.

Scientists propose why we cannot find life in space

“Avi Loeb, lead author from the Harvard Smithsonian, said: “If you ask, ‘When is life most likely to emerge?’ you might naively say, ‘now’. But we find that the chance of life grows much higher in the distant future.”

Perhaps they have been monitoring us and decided they don’t want to be found? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

If you were a member of an advanced alien race capable of crossing the vast expanse of the Cosmos would you want anything to do with a species that can’t even properly merge onto the Freeway?http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

When I was very young, I saw a movie called ‘it came from outer space’. from that time on I always thought aliens had landed.

  4. KG says:

If they’re looking for intelligent life, then a large part of the population doesn’t qualify.

I remember a bit that Seinfeld did,he said “It’s all about perspective.Imagine you were an alien and you were observing life on Earth. And looking down on Manhattan you saw a man out walking his dog on a leash and every time the dog shit on the sidewalk the man would stop, pull out a napkin and a little paper bag, pick the shit up with the napkin, drop it in the little bag and throw the the whole mess in the nearest trash can.
Seeing all of this and having little knowledge of Earth, who would you assume is the dominant life form? The man or the dog leading the man around on a leash and having his shit picked up?

We know there is intelligent life out there because it hasn’t attempted to contact us yet.

We are the Universe Garden of Eden….and our mission is to visit and populate strange new worlds.

A five year mission? To boldly go where no man has gone before? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_whistle3.gif

Pretty much…but we will find those new earths with no intelligent life on them. Asimov – the great science fiction writer – predicted this – mankind spread galaxy wide in a future where the origin point of the human race has become a matter of debate among the intellectuals – and the earth – like the Garden of Eden – a fable, a myth, a lovely, “It could have been there…”
