Gets a Courtroom Thrashing
‘…Several debates have been run in the UK, although BBC Scotland in 2014 banned broadcasting them because they would “be in breach of the editorial guidelines on impartiality”. The BBC, notoriously, lied for years and fought FOIs in the courts to maintain that its policy to muzzle sceptic views on climate had been recommended in 2005 by a panel of top science experts. It was finally revealed that 25 of the 28 panel members were green activists and journalists. Only three were current scientists (all alarmists).’
Leftists/”progressives”/socialists are not welcome here. Pay for your own soapbox.

How was summer down under? Prepared for winter?
https://nsidc.org/data/seaice_index/images/daily_images/S_stddev_timeseries.png
Was pretty good, Robert. I suspect winter is going to be very cold though. Colder than usual. Maybe wetter too.
Here in Barcelona (Catalunya) our cherry tree is just 1 or 2 days away from blooming. Of Course Barcelona has its own urban heat island microclimate so normally temperatures are a bit higher than outside the city.

Especially at night so the average day temperature is higher making it 90% of global warming.
KG’s summer sounds like it was better than mine here in Nelson. We had 4 storms that really screwed with the trout fishing. The last big one did major damage to one of out smaller rivers.
Can you fish for trout in winter Michael?
On the lower reaches of a few rivers. Most big fish head for the closed areas by May to spawn and fishing doesn’t pick up much until mid August.
Ah….ok. I was thinking of learning freshwater fly fishing this winter. (I doubt my crude SWF techniques would be much good)
The Wellington summer was great. It came early, was very hot and dry (which finally dried out the soon to be very expensive landslip at one of the rentals) and when rain returned it was generally kind and short lived. Its still warm during the day but evenings are getting cooler. I’d guess the best summer I can recall in the 25 years I’ve lived here. I even swam in Wellington harbour this year.
The water is still warm enough to swim and evenings still good enough to eat outside on the deck.
Perth summer was ordinary – as in mediocre. Very few hot – 37C or over – days.
March was hot. That’s not unusual here, but it was strange to suddenly be belted with nights in the 20s after three months of relative comfort.
will be spending less time on FB –:-) more time w my blog friends —

It’ll be good to hear from you more Carol.

sigh…more evidence of globull warming.
Somewhere, every day on earth, there’s some unusual weather. As it always was and always will be.
Now let us panic…….
