    Would have thought Trump would declassify before the mid-terms. Dems. will have the WH in just over a Month and all will be brushed under the table. The Mueller fiasco will continue. Republican House have had over two years to expose all, but too many in the deep state has stuffed any progress. Having a lame duck Senate leader has not helped either.

      In the old Soviet Union,in Moscow’s Red Square there was a tall apartment block where all of the Politburo members and their families lived.That apartment block had two elevators,one public that serviced the members and their families,and another that the KGB used to make Politburo members who stepped out of line “disappear” during the night.

      Substitute the Politburo for the US Congress and Senate and the KGB for the Deep State (damn,there isn’t much difference is there these days?).

      You can bet that the DS has a file folder on every single congressman and senator.They know where all the skeletons are buried,they know all of their secrets.Even if a person were “clean” you can bet they know how to get to their family members.
      The DS are dug in like Ticks and I don’t see them being taken out in a civil manner.It’s more likely a task to be handled by loyal patriots in the military/leo,or failing that,armed,citizen revolt aka Civil War 2.0

          I believe it goes beyond that,the DS are the king makers,it’s they who decide who gets to move up politically in the firstplace.They decide who gets campaign funding,who gets the under the table perks etc.

          That’s why the Teaparty,Trump etc are so hated by them.Teaparty and Trump,upset the Apple cart.

    I think our current situtation in the west,resembles ancient Israel in the time period descibed in the book of Judges.I am hoping for a Gideon,but will settle for a Samson.

    The usual excuse in these cases is that declassification will expose their sources. There’s been plenty of time to remove those sources from danger out of the country. When the Brits start interfering in American elections that’s more than reason to expose the operation in it’s full extent. What remains unsaid, however, is how much of the “unverified” information can raise more questions than it answers and hence is in both Trump’s and MI-6’s interest in leaving sleeping dogs lie.
