“…Condemned To Repeat It”

Mob violence and threats to our sitting elected officials are remarkably similar to the ones just in the year 56 BC. Our wannabe rulers have no originality.

BTW — Ancient Rome had no police. No originality oughta mean no surprises. But then you well informed crusaders know the first part of the quote.

The Progs so hate our republic and its constitutional limits on power that I’m convinced that they don’t even care should Trump be forced to crack down. They’d welcome it. The more he exceeds limits on Federal power, especially taking over for the states without their invitation, hastens the end of constitution.

Blessed God, please have mercy on us. Turn the tables on our enemy. Amen.

    • Trump has properly hung back from charging mindlessly in where it’s clear that the primary responsibility for local order is that of state and local government. However, he has not made any kind of a constitutional case for this. For example, he speaks as those it’s municipal officials who should first request federal intervention whereas it’s the legislature or governor of each state who must request the president’s assistance to quell domestic violence.

I agree. Civil Rights violations was the excuse Ike used — but he was popular and the media sided with him.

We will see how this US Marshalls’ attempted arrest turned deadly of the Portland antifa murderer plays out. I haven’t seen corporate media spin it against the feds yet.

The triumvirate seemed like a cadre of dirty socialists to me. They three destroyed the voting senate system. They raided the treasury (debt) to bribe the soldiers with land and money (for votes and laws). It was redistribution. Crassus acted as the rich billionaire arms dealer, or rich tech billionaire facilitated the dirty work. Caesar and Pompey has the voting soldiers basically corrupting the idea of Rome and the Senate. Caesar had Pompey killed and Crassus was rich but an egotistical incompetent general whose head was cut off in a minor skirmish. Leaving Caesar as Stalin.
