    I was born too late-

R.G. Fowler land his Wright Flyer B at Biloxi on 5 January 1912

    1912
Robert Grant Fowler [1884-1966], a competitor in America’s first transcontinental air race, which was sponsored by William Randolph Hearst [1863-1951] the San Francisco newspaper magnate. Hearst would reward the winning pilot $50,000 [about $1.4 million today], if the reached New York or San Francisco within a month. R.G. Fowler was one of only four daredevils who participated in the Hearst sponsored air race. He was the only pilot to depart the West Coast leaving San Francisco on 10 September 1911 in an aircraft called the Cole Flyer, a Wright Flyer B-Model EX, bi-plane, with two-propellers and constructed from spruce was built in August 1912 at Dayton, Ohio. The aircraft was powered with a Cole 60-HP engine. The eight-cylinder engine was the first automobile engine used in an aircraft. The Cole Flyer arrived at Biloxi in the afternoon of 5 January 1912. It had flown from Pass Christian, Mississippi via NOLA and was expected to land at Biloxi’s Pelican Green where many curious spectators had gathered to greet Aviator Fowler. Fowler instead set down on the old golf course known as the Keller Green situated between Lee Street and Keller Avenue and north of the L&N Railroad.[The Daily Herald, January 6, 1912, p. 4]

Apologies for the way I have had to link to this video of concerned citizens beginning to fight back.

This is my old home town. The riots are because ex President Jacob Zuma (ANC) has been sentenced to 15 months gaol for contempt of court for failing to appear at a commission hearing into state capture during his term in office. He is as dirty as can be but has a massive following. The country is once again in flames (this seems to happen on a monthly basis now that they masses have been “liberated”).

It was only ever a matter of time before this started. You can give people the right to vote, but they will vote only for who they understand and that lot in the street don’t understand much.

What is your take on how this plays out? I know that whites are in the extreme minority there, is there any number of blacks there with the same ideals who might side with them? Or will this be another failed state with an endless and ineffective UN peace keeping mission?

I believe I previously said that those who railed against the use of invermectin to treat COVID claiming they had proof it was ineffective should be prosecuted for murder. Seems there is now even more evidence that is the correct analysis.

Fauci should be publicly vilified and sent to prison for the rest of his life.

  6. mawm says:

The South African ANC government is an alliance between the SA Communist Party, the trade unions (COSATU) and the ANC. The “revolution” was always a two stage process – the takeover from the white government and installation of a black government ie that of Mandela and all with the help of the Western Globalist powers. The SACP has always been the brains behind the ANC.

“The “radical second phase,” however, calls for the creation of a full-blown socialist dictatorship to erect what the communist conspirators refer to as a “workers’ state.” After allowing elements of the market economy to build up communist might during phase one, the coming segment of the revolution aims to consolidate full control over industry, land, resources, government, capital, credit, and even society itself.”

Of course with the mismanagement of the economy, failure to maintain all the “services” such as roads, water and power, and with the exorbitant corruption and outright stealing from the exchequer the country is grinding to a halt. White businesses under BEE (black economic empowerment) legislation have to employ uneducated, unmotivated and unproductive blacks ahead of whites. Thus the economy and white wealth have taken a nose-dive. White (and other minority races) continue to take their skills elsewhere. All the promises made by the ANC have been shown to be empty and the lot of the poorest is dire and frustration is adding fuel to the fire. Any excuse to riot, loot and burn (just like in the US) results in what is happening now. This time it is because the previous President, Zuma, has been slapped with a contempt of court 15 month prison sentence for failing to attend a commission hearing into state capture by the Gupta Bros during his Presidency. They were outright sponsoring his lavish lifestyle while he was signing the country’s wealth over to them.

      At some point after 12:30

“the streets [gangs] have been flooded by guns that belong to government.”

There is great risk in waiting for the distinction between government and common criminals to totally evaporate in your locale as well.

      • mawm says:

The police are frequently shown be be involved in criminal activities such as cash in transit heists while the government from Mandela down are as corrupt as can be. There is no level of criminality they are not prepared to stoop below such as stealing money from schemes to feed starving children or robbing healthcare.

At present the looting and burning are concentrated in two main areas – Johannesburg, the powerhouse of the economy, and Durban, the largest container port in sub Saharan Africa and from which imports are trucked and railed through out southern and central Africa.

What is different this time is that the public are coming together and that they are using their firearms – mainly as deterrents but that is changing too.

Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary, today said this stupid bullshit-

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen acknowledged “rapid inflation” will persist for several more months after she repeatedly downplayed the risk of consumer price increases.

Americans can expect consumer prices to continue their rapid rise until returning to normal in the “medium term,” Yellen said Thursday in an interview with CNBC. But Yellen, along with top Federal Reserve officials, predicted inflation wouldn’t be a concern.

“We will have several more months of rapid inflation,” Yellen told CNBC. “So I’m not saying that this is a one-month phenomenon.”

“Risk of consumer price increases’? Are you fucking kidding me bitch?
