Thomas Lifson:
‘The unspoken central political phenomenon of our time is the emergence of a ruling class which seeks to transform American society into a collectivist polity led by themselves. The best explication of this phenomenon I have seen, and one of the most fascinating political essays in a long time has been penned by Angelo M. Codevilla for The American Spectator. I cannot recommend this piece highly enough.’
Don’t call the left “useless”.
Because to some, they’re very useful indeed.
And the left are doing the heavy lifting–preparing the ground as it were–for this class.
It’s difficult to write about this stuff because it attracts derisive comments about conspiracy theorists, black helicopters and tinfoil hats but there IS a project underway.
A project which will see the end of nations as we’ve known them, the end of borders (except inasmuch they’re useful for controlling populations) the end of people having any meaningful say in the policies of “their” governments.
Consider for a moment how many U.N. treaties and agreements and protocols we’reĀ bound by–did any government ask the people before they signed up to them? The so-called ‘democratic process’ already is little more than smoke and mirrors, an illusion fostered to keep the remnant urge for liberty docile and co-operative.
This project won’t be deflected by the ballot box because the ballot box is owned by those who are imposing the ruling class on us.
Draw your own conclusions about what will be needed for liberty to survive.
