“Miami, a 48-year-old woman wrote, “is jobless city. I have a master’s degree in art but with this economy, that’s like nothing.”
In any real economy, that’s “like nothing”. Always will be. Go and get a real job. Not that you’d be of any damn use in a mining camp.
The interesting background to this is a discussion on the money to be made in mining jobs in Australia.
There always is teaching. Funny how a Master’s means you can teach. That is a job.
That was always the point of a Master’s degree.
Well, since most teachers are now Indoctribots, that’s still not a real job.
I can think of a job she could do at a mining site
She’s probably not that good looking which also explains a lot.
I see these people, they have wasted a huge amount of money on worthless degrees. If it’s Art,political science, gender and women’s studies, climate change studies or pre-Colombian anthropology you have a masters in congrats! You’ve pissed away a ton of money in a field that society at large can no longer indulge, finance or tolerate.Find a real job or go kill yourself either way I’m sick of the crying and complaining.
I have a friend who showed up here from Trinidad when he was 17, with a work visa and the clothes on his back,a relative loaned him $30.He bought a couple buckets,a squeegee,a towel and some glass cleaner. His first day in the country he made $60 washing windows,(he didn’t even speak the language)15 years later he has made his way into a thriving Auto body business,he didn’t do it by sitting on his ass complaining.
The stupid bitch is also confusing education with training. The former is totally dead in most universities.
A “Masters Degree in Art” is a personal asset? I suggest it is a taint like having your old girlfriend’s name tattooed on your penis!
I presume you are speaking from experience, Anonymous?
That was a comment from me; Cadwallader. No I am only speaking from “almost experience!”
