New Zealand’s African minorities – many welcomed here as refugees – claim the police are targeting them unfairly and sometimes in a racist manner.
Young Africans have told AUT researcher Dr Camille Nakhid that police have stopped them on the streets or in cars for no apparent reason except their colour, beaten them, called them “n*****s”, told them to “go back to your country” and even told them to go back to Mt Roskill when they visited the North Shore…’
I’ve often been a strong critic of the police, but cops in NZ simply do not behave this way. Sure, there are some individual exceptions – there always will be.
But I’ve been up close during many clashes between cops and lowlifes and not once did I hear a cop verbally abuse them.The culture within the force simply doesn’t tolerate it.
I suspect a “researcher” trying to justify her “job” and make a name for herself found some Africans happy to play the common raaaacist! grievance game.

NZ politicians and bureaucrats: corrupt, arrogant, secretive.
Not that that makes them unique, but I wish Kiwis would stop patting themselves on the back and telling us how “least corrupt” NZ is.

The best hope for the survival of European societies is that the unassimilable animal hotheads will over-reach themselves too soon.

The $700m figure concerns just gang members and their families. There are large numbers of Maoris who are not members (or at least not recognized members) of gangs who are also receiving welfare, some of them for generations.
More ineffectual and expensive social work won’t fix the problem of these thugs and their spawn and the government must know this. Asking where they got their often high-value items such as cars and boats and how they can afford to cruise around in them when fuel is around $1:70c a litre might provide a clue or two.
Some vigorous policing instead of cultural arse-licking might just help, too.
Tribal leaders are always talking about “our people”, so how about they pick up the welfare tab for them? They’re certainly wealthy enough, having been given vast amounts of taxpayer’s dollars and property. And their business ventures are often tax-exempt, too.
