‘Undocumented’ rapists and killers.

‘U.S. Worsens Mexican Violence by Returning Criminal Aliens to Border Cities, Mayors Say
A coalition of Mexican mayors has asked the United States to stop deporting illegal immigrants who have been convicted of serious crimes in the U.S. to Mexican border cities, saying the deportations are contributing to Mexican border violence.
…..Ciudad Juarez Mayor Jose Reyes blamed U.S. deportation policy for contributing to his city’s violence, saying that of the 80,000 people deported to Juarez in the past three years, 28,000 had U.S. criminal records — including 7,000 convicted rapists and 2,000 convicted murderers….’                               source

They must be those nice illegal immigrants who are “doing the jobs Americans won’t do”. And of course, illegal-immigrant violent crime is an exaggerated problem anyway, according to opponents of Arizona’s immigration law…..

‘Those, like, totally weird constitutionalists’

Mark J. Fitzgibbons:

‘Dahlia Lithwick, who sports both a Yale undergrad and Stanford law degree, is senior editor and legal guru at Slate magazine. Yesterday she wrote this comment, which I find stunning:
“I have been fascinated by Christine O’Donnell’s constitutional worldview since her debate with her opponent Chris Coons last week. O’Donnell explained that “when I go to Washington, D.C., the litmus test by which I cast my vote for every piece of legislation that comes across my desk will be whether or not it is constitutional.” How weird is that, I thought. Isn’t it a court’s job to determine whether or not something is, in fact, constitutional? And isn’t that sort of provided for in, well, the Constitution?”  ‘

seems the Constitution is now the property of lawyers and the courts…..

NZ’s National Party: Socialism in drag.

Petrol prices will rocket by 7 cents a litre on Friday as increases to GST and the fuel excise deal motorists a double blow.
The Automobile Association’s Mark Stockdale said he expected the GST increase from 12.5 per cent to 15 per cent would bump up petrol prices by 4c a litre and diesel by 3c a litre, based on current prices.
A 3c rise in the fuel excise also comes into effect on Friday. The two tax increases will raise the price of a litre of 91 octane to about $1.81 from $1.74.’
And this, remember is on top of the 3c a litre tax increase following the introduction of the dishonest Emissions Trading Scam. ‘Phone and power prices have already gone up, the flow-on effect will raise the cost of everything. Yet we have this dishonest headline in another online news source:
The average family will be about $18 a week better off from Friday – but the experts advise not to go and spend it.’
Assuming the $18 figure is accurate–and I very much doubt that–families struggling to cope with the increased costs across the board won’t have much  choice about whether to spend it. It’d be very interesting to see the numbers fleeing across the Tasman to Australia over the past few months. Anecdotal evidence from travel agents and removal companies I’ve talked to seems to indicate that the exodus continues unabated.
No bloody wonder!

Decisions….

Wabbit is looking to buy a rifle when he gets to Australia. Bolt or lever action. Nothing smaller than .270 and no more than .450 magnum. Preferably made in the U.S.A.

‘Digger charges are obscene and unacceptable’

Editorial in Australia’s Daily Telegraph:
‘IN the early days of the campaign in Afghanistan, we were introduced to a new phrase: “asymmetrical warfare” – the relative imbalance between the methods and tactics used by the Taliban and other murdering fundamentalists and the tactics used by coalition forces, including Australian troops, who are constrained by various laws and conventions. In short, we conduct war by the rules. The Taliban do not.
The dangers of this imbalance exist not only for the women and children used as shields by Taliban insurgents, or for the Afghan civilians targeted by fundamentalist suicide bombers. Dangers also exist for Australian soldiers who are caught in gun battles with Taliban operatives using civilians as cover.
And the danger extends beyond the immediate threat of death and injury.
Our soldiers also face the danger of legal action arising from the unique and distressing circumstances that arise when fighting an utterly amoral opponent.
Three soldiers have been charged following the deaths of five Afghan children in 2009. Those deaths remain a tragedy.
That charges have been laid by our own military against the soldiers is obscene.
As two of the soldiers said in a statement: “It should not be forgotten that the casualties were ultimately caused by the callous and reckless act of an insurgent who chose to repeatedly fire upon us at extreme close range from within a room he knew contained women and children.”
That’s the reality of combat in Afghanistan. By charging the three soldiers, the military is giving strength to the vicious and inhuman tactics of our enemy.

“WOLVERINES!”

‘The Leftist revolutionary forces and the revolutionary terrorist barbarians of radical Islam are allies in an unholy cabal with the same goal in mind: The complete destruction of Western Civilization. They are opposed by only a few brave Freedom Fighters who understand that appeasement, compromise and living side by side by with these forces of tyranny is impossible and who realize that the best means to stop revolution is counter-revolution.

As is well known in my circle of friends, since 2005 with creation of The Freedom Fighter’s Journal, I’ve collected the names and locations of a large number of trustworthy people all over the USA, Europe and the world, who, whether they want to admit it at the present time, are a revolutionary cadre: A small radical minority of rugged individualists and heroes who have been “Mugged By Reality” in a dozen different nations and understand that the various governments of the West cannot be reformed — They must be destroyed or they will murder our lives and liberties in time…’

‘A teenager reportedly seen hitching a ride on the back of a whale off the West Australian coast was courting death, say environmental authorities.
The WA Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) was alerted on Friday afternoon that a teenager had been seen climbing onto the back of a southern right whale close to Albany’s Middleton Beach, about 390km southeast of Perth.
DEC Albany district manager Mike Shephard said the report was being investigated, adding that even approaching a whale was crazy and illegal.

Memo to Mike Shephard: Some of us have approached whales, played with dolphins and once, memorably, fed a killer whale and rolled him over on to his side by that huge dorsal fin. He didn’t seem to be aware that it was ‘crazy and illegal’.
But then, that was before the days of jumped-up little greenoid apparatchiks who think they somehow ‘own’ nature–the habitats and the animals and plants– and dole out access to them from the Olympian heights of superior environmental wisdom….
Go screw yourself. The encounter was between the kid and the whale–he had the experience of a lifetime and the whale is unharmed. Now go find something useful to do, eh?
