“..There is one episode in Abbott’s life I witnessed but don’t often recount because my own role was so utterly unheroic. In 1977, Abbott and I were lying on the sand at a surf beach some distance out of Melbourne. The surf was way too rough for either of us to go in. Suddenly a woman came up to us screaming. Her son had been pulled out by a rip and was in bad trouble.
I was a weak swimmer and had I dived in someone would very soon have had to rescue me. Abbott was a strong swimmer and pretty much without hesitation jumped in, swam out to the kid, took hold of him, dragged him down the coastline a bit to get past the rip, and brought him safely to shore. He was not a bit interested in the mother’s thanks, rather a bit disgusted the kid had gone out in such treacherous surf.
That was 36 years ago. I’ve got no doubt if the incident happened today Abbott’s response would be the same.
Publicly and privately, he’s the same bloke. His personality may be unreconstructed, but also, it’s not a construct.”

Alicia Wilson, 15, and Shaknee Golay, 19, are each being charged with aggravated assault on a person older than 65 years of age. The incident happened about 9 p.m. Monday when dispatchers received a report of several teenagers chasing a man with a stick, the news release said…’

Edited from the debate on 7.30 between Immigration Minister Tony Burke and the Coalition’s Scott Morrison was an exchange which shows Labor has no idea what to do with the 30,000 asylum seekers who have arrived and are waiting for a permanent visa.
Give them that visa and 30,000 people quickly become, say, 90,000 – thanks to family reunions. And the rewards will send a message to others…’   source

This whole story since it started demonstrates several things quite well.It demonstrates a left and media so desperate to find cover for a failing president that they are flailing around trying to get traction on anything to distract the public.Race baiting is high on the list so a week after video surfaced of three black students pummeling a white one,where not a word was uttered from any of the supposed civil rights leaders,we have the entire brunt of the US media and all of it’s assorted wackos,physcopaths and race pimps in full display over a Rodeo Clown and a Rubber mask.Liberal media pitchmen and race baiters alike are comparing a Rodeo Clown to a KKK meeting or a Lynching,does anyone take them seriously anymore?
