In most other parts of the west, you’d get many squeals of outrage and waffling that a 14-year old was allowed a handgun. Oh the horror!
Like that libertarian senator said the other night, when a muslim terrorist took a cafe full of people hostage with a gun he wasn’t licensed to have despite our stringent gun control laws the manager only had his bare hands to defend himself and his customers with.
Australians should look to their own self defense and say “FUCK THE BLOODY GOVERNMENT!”
Firearms can come into the country via shipping containers – the Government lacks the ability to search EVERY container, or even a faction of them. The criminal elements in Australia arm themselves this way – so I say what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
If the Australian authorities cannot keep firearms out of the hands of criminals – THEN HOW THE HELL CAN THEY STOP MILLIONS OF HONEST CITIZENS FROM ARMING THEMSELVES AGAINST CRIMINALS
