Fielding steam festival, this morning. And a friend (who shall remain nameless) playing engine driver. Now she wants a steam train.

‘..Nearly 400 British girls as young as eleven are believed to have been sexually exploited by Muslim rape gangs in Oxfordshire over the past 15 years, according to a chilling new report. It charges local officials with repeatedly ignoring the abuse due to a “culture of denial.”
The scale of the abuse in Oxfordshire, a county in southeast England, mirrors similarly shocking accounts of the sexual exploitation of white British girls by Muslim gangs in Bristol, Derby, Rochdale, Rotherham and Telford, and implies that the problem is not isolated, but endemic…’ Andrew Bolt
Let’s ring-fence the place and leave ’em to it:

‘Dame Susan wants door open to refugees
Race Relations Commissioner Dame Susan Devoy will today call for New Zealand to increase its quota of refugees.’
This is feelgood bullshit that will achieve almost nothing, cost the NZ taxpayer even more money and do absolutely nothing to address the causes for the “51 million refugees” figure she quotes.
Of course, it’ll give clowns like her a nice warm fuzzy glow – on somebody else’s buck, as usual. If she’s so concerned, perhaps she’ll let us know how many of these people she’s prepared to accommodate at her place?
UPDATE: See the “Shia vs Sunni” post above. Does Devoy seriously believe these primitives will magically leave their sectarian hatreds behind if they come to the West? The Australian experience would indicate otherwise.
Can Kiwis trust the police? Mostly, I think they can. But this item throws an interesting light on their top brass…..
Top violator of women’s rights? It’s Israel says UN
Guess who is the number one violator of women’s rights in the world today? Israel. Violating the rights of Palestinian women.
At least that is the view of the UN’s top women’s rights body, the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). CSW ends its annual meeting on Friday, March 20 by condemning only one of the 193 UN member states for violating women’s rights – Israel.
Not Syria. Where government forces routinely employ rape and other sexual violence and torture against women as a tactic of war. Where in 2014 the Assad regime starved, tortured and killed at least 24,000 civilians, and three million people – mostly women and children – are refugees….
..In fact, not only is there no possibility that the UN Commission on the Status of Women will criticize Iran, Iran is an elected member of CSW. Sudan – whose president has been indicted for genocide and crimes against humanity – is currently a CSW Vice-Chair…’
The biggest threat to freedom today isn’t ISIS or any other islamist band of nutters. The biggest threat is the support of Western governments – using our taxes – for a far more dangerous organization. There is nothing benign about the U.N. NOTHING. We find ourselves bound by treaties and protocols and agreements which we the people have had no say in and effectively we are being forced to pay for our own subjugation to this collection of thieves, liars, zealots and murderous assholes.
‘Customs boss Carolyn Tremain has told MPs the department would only request travellers hand over passwords to their electronic devices if it had a reason to be suspicious about what was on them.
..That would be without Customs officials having to show they had any grounds for suspicion.
Although the proposed power would let Customs request passwords from any traveller or do random checks on electronic devices, Tremain told a parliamentary select committee that was not its intention…’
If that’s not its intention, then why isn’t the proposed legislation worded in a way that reflects that?
Intentions can change and the proposed legislation gives Customs a reserve power they could use on a whim should a traveller piss one of them off for any reason.
I don’t trust the bastards. Ever.
