The chief is right,policemen were never intended to be social workers,or marital counselors.Their sole mandate is the prevention and detection of crime and the maintenance of public order.
Of course, the editors at the Herald could always try commenting on articles such as this, but that wouldn’t suit their agenda, would it? And this morning, hundreds of Kiwis will be parroting Herald bullshit in the mistaken belief that they’re informed news consumers.

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative. Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior.
