“To serve and protect”?

Yeah, riight…
‘One of the questions to emerge out of last night’s unrest in Oakland, where crowds protesting the George Zimmerman verdict turned violent and seized control of a major street for three hours, is why police withdrew from the area and allowed drivers to be terrorized.
…Oakland police officers that had been near the corner retreated, leaving the helpless drivers without police protection. It’s unclear who gave that command…’
Appeasement of thugs and bullying of patriots–it’s the new policing model.

Soft touch Australia.

Provided you’re not a white European, that is.
‘..The people smuggling business started in the Middle East and Pakistan, but then moved to attract customers in northern Africa.
Now Vietnamese entrepreneurs have heard Australia under Labor is open for exploitation:
The latest boat, carrying 84 people, sailed directly from Vietnam, where there has been no conflict for 30 years.
Already this year, 759 Vietnamese boat people have come to Australia – the largest group to turn up since just after the Vietnam War – and more than four times the total number that has arrived in the three previous years…’

No mention of this in the MSM, of course. This government has failed in what is perhaps their most basic duty–to secure the border. Clearly, these Vietnamese people are not refugees and the usual excuse of being bound by U.N. “obligations” towards refugees cannot apply. So why have they not been returned immediately to Vietnam?

Quote of the week:

‘..We’re allowed to have elections because we vote for Democrats or Republicans. The ballot box is a toy that we’re allowed to play with because we’ve shown that despite some scary moments, we won’t use it to burn down the system. If we ever did go rogue, the ballot box would be taken away from us, the bad names would get scrubbed off the lists and the administrators of the nanny state would then give it back to us with a stern warning to mend our ways…’  Daniel Greenfield

Open house

I just found out that my Winchester M70 was made in 1952. Very cool. The thing’s nearly as old as Wabbit and still works perfectly.

Eco-scammers

And governments are in it up to their corrupt necks:
‘Thousands of dirty diesel generators are being secretly prepared all over Britain to provide emergency back-up to prevent the National Grid collapsing when wind power fails.
And under the hugely costly scheme, the National Grid is set to pay up to 12 times the normal wholesale market rate for the electricity they generate…’
